The Muskoka Heritage Foundation protects, conserves and nurtures the environment and traditions of Muskoka. Established in 1987, the MHF is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization whose mandate is to protect, conserve and nurture Muskoka’s natural and cultural environment now and for future generations.
In partnership with The Muskoka Heritage Trust and Muskoka Watershed Council, and with the support of many volunteers, the Foundation achieves its goals through science-based research, education, advocacy, and strong environmental leadership.
