Donations
Outright cash donations provide
immediate benefits to the Foundation. These can be made
directly or pledged over time via cash, cheque or credit card
and can also take the form of special occasion, tribute or in
memoriam gifts.
Cheques
may be made out to Muskoka Heritage Foundation and mailed with
a Membership/Donation Form

GIFTS
OF SECURITIES
Donations
of publicly traded securities (including stocks, bonds and
mutual funds) can provide the Foundation with support while
enhancing financial planning for the donor.

PLANNED
GIFTS
Future
gifts to the Muskoka Heritage Foundation, usually referred to
as 'planned gifts', are very welcome. These may include
charitable bequests provided in a will (e.g. cash or
securities), retirement funds or gifts of life
insurance. Although donors usually plan for these gifts
now, the Foundation will receive them at a future time.
Note that there are tax advantages associated with planned
gifts.

LAND
AS LEGACY
The
Foundation is committed to the preservation of the unique
natural heritage of Muskoka. Through The Muskoka
Heritage Trust, the Foundation can accept gifts of land that
are then safeguarded in perpetuity.

'A
NATURAL FUTURE' ENDOWMENT FUND
'A
Natural Future' Endowment Fund is comprised of a pool of money
that is invested for the express purpose of generating an
annual income stream that can be used to support MHF
initiatives designed to protect and enhance Muskoka's natural
heritage.
Gifts
can be made via direct contributions and pledges, donations of
securities, or planned gifts of bequests and insurance
policies.
