In  Ontario, species at risk are separated in five categories: special concern, threatened, endangered, extirpated, and extinct.  Can you identify which of the species below are a species at risk?  Click on each of the pictures below to learn more about how that species is at risk.

 

This Common Merganser Duck and her brood were photographed at the Barron Canyon in Algonquin Park in August 2011. Can you spot which one is the “mommy?”
